Express Registration

Express Registration offers the opportunity to take courses while completing your application. Express Registration allows prospective students to register for up to two (2) classes without being admitted to a particular program of study. Credits earned at Northeastern University through Express Registration are recorded in the University Registrar's Office on an official transcript.

Express Registration Eligibility

To be eligible, you:
  • have a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
  • are not currently enrolled as a student at Northeastern University.
  • have not started an application for admission (if you have already started an application and wish to enroll in a class prior to completing the application please reach out to your enrollment coach by emailing cpsadmissions@neu.edu.)
Express Registration applicants are not required to submit letters of recommendation, entrance exam scores (unless proof of English proficiency is required), or official transcripts. Submitted Express Registration forms will be reviewed by the Office of the Registrar and a decision will be made quickly about the applicant's eligibility. When an applicant is approved to register, he or she will be contacted by an Enrollment Coach with additional details on the registration process.
