Intercultural Health Care Delivery Systems-Physical Therapy
Course Description:
Engages students with the culture, civilization, and people of the countries studied and visited. Seeks to provide students with an in-depth and on-site experience, exposing them to the history, anthropology, philosophy, culture, and arts with a special focus on the health-care system in the country of study. Encourages students to connect with their peers in each country/society and gain a “global experience” designed to enhance their academic studies on campus in Boston. The experience culminates in an independent service project conducted by the students before, during, and after their time in-country.
