Course Title:
Medical Spanish for Health-Care Professionals
Course Description:
Seeks to train students who have completed at least one year of elementary Spanish and have a working knowledge of the language to acquire specialized medical terminology in Spanish that can be used in a range of health-care settings. Provides students with the opportunity to expand their Spanish speaking and listening skills and their reading and writing skills. Through a variety of simulations, students also have an opportunity to develop and enhance interview and conversational skills appropriate to a variety of medical settings.
