Course Title:
Design and Methods for Clinical Nursing Research
Course Description:
Provides students with an opportunity to learn various approaches to study clinical health problems. Examines the state of the science in nursing research that supports clinical practice and critically analyzes programs of research of contemporary nurse scientists. Analyzes scientific principles and integrity related to the conduct and dissemination of research. Examines approaches such as clinical trials, observational studies, survey research, primary and secondary data analyses, program evaluation, and outcomes research, as well as means for assuring ethical integrity in human subjects research.
