Course Description:
Continues the study of Modern Standard Arabic at the intermediate level. The goal of this course is to continue to develop students’ oral and written proficiency in Modern Standard Arabic emphasizing the four language skills-listening, reading, speaking, and writing-with a special emphasis on the communicative approach. Although students are expected to learn grammatical structures, emphasizes functional usage of the language and on communication in context. Classes are conducted mostly in Modern Standard Arabic.
