Structural Geology
Course Description:
Focuses on the nature and origin of rock structures produced during deformation of the Earth’s crust. Emphasizes analysis of the geometric relationships of structural features and interpreting the possible stress and tectonic environments that produced them. There is a field trip to study many of the structural features discussed in lectures.
