Arabic Conversation and Composition 1
Course Description:
Maximizes students’ oral and written proficiency in Modern Standard Arabic. Stresses the four language skills of listening, reading, speaking, and writing, with emphasis on the communicative approach. Although students are expected to learn grammatical structures, emphasis is on functional usage of the language and on communication in context. Classes are conducted mostly in Modern Standard Arabic.
