Course Description:
Surveys the legal and policy issues concerning minimum wage and wage-payment laws, regulation of working-time and overtime premiums, family and medical leave, unemployment insurance, COBRA, Social Security and pensions, and ERISA. Stresses close reading of statutes and administrative regulations. Emphasizes the problems of low-wage workers.
