Course Description:
Offers a simulation of the problems and activities commonly seen in both ambulatory/community and institutional pharmacy practice. Affords students an opportunity to receive patients with drug-related needs and problems to be resolved. Requires students to complete activities to resolve the need or problem for their patient and to provide information to both health professionals and patients with regard to drug therapy. Gives students an opportunity to use computers to maintain patient profiles, document drug-related problems, and find appropriate resolutions to problems.
