Basic Skills for the Health-Care Professional
Course Description:
Introduces health science students to the basic skills necessary to be successful in entry-level health-care positions. These skills include: Basic Life Support, safe patient handling, vital signs, oxygen transport and safety, and EKG prep and placement. Also covers basic medical terminology, appropriate professional behaviors, and communication skills.
