Course Description:
Retired August 31, 2008; replaced with NUR U323 and NUR U324. Builds upon knowledge from NUR U220, introducing the student to the practice and application of more complex nursing skills and assessment techniques. Provides the learner with the opportunity to acquire a range and repertoire of complex nursing skills, assessment tools, and communication techniques that support accurate and appropriate nursing interventions and comprehensive care planning for clients. Develops advanced assessment and intervention skills by supervised practice and student demonstration in the nursing laboratory.
