Kinesiology
Course Description:
Involves the study of movement through analysis of joint and muscle function. Covers basic kinesiology concepts as well as concepts related to pathological motions and/or postures, including gait analysis, soft tissue pathologies, overuse syndromes, and neurologic disorders. Emphasizes detailed analysis of the various motions and postures encountered in the clinical setting. Offers students an opportunity to learn to describe the etiology and treatment of normal and abnormal movements and postures.
