			Course Description:
			
				Building on the knowledge of the health-assessment process and primary care concepts, the FNP student has an opportunity to learn to provide family focused primary care bridging the content learned in the adult and pediatric courses.  Emphasizes integration of the assessment and management of the changing structure of the family unit throughout the childbearing years into the role of the family nurse practitioner.
