Course Description:
Retired August 31, 2005; replaced by PHY 4141 in the School of Professional and Continuing Studies. Introduces vectors and balanced forces, Newton’s laws, accelerated motion, projectile motion, work and energy, and momentum. Explores elasticity and periodic motion, wave motion and sound, density and pressure, temperature, and the properties and interference of light.
