Focuses on professional personnel development in health-care administration and management using the leader-as-developer framework. Examines the functions of planning, organizing, controlling, leading, decision making, and coordinating within health-care administration. Analyzes staff development, gender, change collective bargaining, quality improvement, and outcome within the health-care administrator’s scope of responsibility. Utilizes the processes of interpersonal relationships, group dynamics, and consultation to enhance the development of administrative skills within health-care operations.
