Retired August 31, 2008. Provides an introduction to family and group dynamics, therapy, and research. Focuses on psychodynamics of family and groups, interaction and communication processes, family and group structure and organization, family and group dysfunction, and intervention strategies. Uses family and group case studies and clinical media to demonstrate ways to observe, describe, analyze, and intervene in treatment situations. Reviews and evaluates research approaches to study of the family and groups.
