Covers introduction to the Hamilton-Jacobi equation; action-angle variables, and Liouville’s integrability theorem; nonlinear oscillators; chaos in Hamiltonian systems; and continuous media via the sine-Gordon equation, solitons/antisolitons, and nonsolitonic solutions, Lagrangian derivation of the field equations, and Klein-Gordon equation.
