Classical Dynamics
Course Description:
Covers advanced topics in classical mechanics including vector kinematics, harmonic oscillator and resonance, generalized coordinates, Lagrange’s equations, central forces and the Kepler problem, rigid body motion, and mathematical methods in physics. For students with undergraduate degrees in fields other than physics or lacking preparation in one or more of the topics covered in the required first-year graduate courses.
