Retired August 31, 2005; replaced by ETM 4541 in the School of Professional and Continuing Studies. The famous handbook ROARK’S FORMULAS FOR STRESS AND STRAIN is renowned for its single-source avalability to solve stress analysis problems on common engineering shapes. This course will focus on the use of the handbook and show via case studies how to solve stress analysis problems that present themselves in engineering design.
