Course Description:
Introduces the basics of the law of wills and trusts. Covers intestacy; the law of wills, including the formal requirements for a valid will; the use and application of various will substitutes, such as inter vivos gifts and joint tenancies; and the basic law of trusts. Examines issues in a counseling and planning context, to the extent feasible.
