Course Description:
Retired August 31, 2005. Explores basic thermodynamic relationships. Conducts experiments to study the flow of steam and to examine the energy conversion of a fuel into a working substance. Examines related heat transfer mechanisms along with operating characteristics of thermal generators, engines, and compressors. Evaluates internal combustion engines and their characteristics.
