Course Description:
Retired August 31, 2005; replaced by ETM 4201 in the School of Professional and Continuing Studies. Examines the behavior of forces, moments, couples, and statics of particles, and of rigid bodies in two- and three-dimensional space. Topics include external and internal distributed forces, and moments of inertia and centroids. Provides methods to analyze structures including trusses, frames, and machines.
