Topics may include convex polytopes; Euler’s theorem and Dehn-Sommerville equations; upper-bound theorem; symmetry groups; regular polytopes and tessellations; reflexion groups and Coxeter groups; crystallographic groups and Bieberbach theorems; regular tessellations on surfaces; tilings and aperiodicity; oriented matroids; and other topics at instructor’s discretion.
