Retired August 31, 2005; replaced by ETG 4121 in the School of Professional and Continuing Studies. Provides extensive experience with mainstream computer applications including word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, Internet, and operating system software. Discusses advanced features and configuration details of the most popular applications software with project-based assignments that integrate the use of these applications. Also addresses many of the current activities in the realm of computer applications with a view toward exposing students to potential directions and vendor activities in the technology of computer applications.
