Course Description:
Retired August 31, 2007; replaced with ENV U520. Covers the origin, distribution, and flow of groundwater in permeable sediments and bedrock; hydrological and geological characteristics of aquifers; regional flow systems emphasizing rock structure, stratigraphy, and other aspects of the geological environment; principles of hydrogeologic mapping and analysis; and introduction to well testing and well hydraulics. An individual research project augments class activities.
