Course Description:
Retired August 31, 2007. Designed to support participant understanding of the theory, research, and practice pertaining to creating a sense of community in the classroom. Examines a number of behavior management approaches and gives students the opportunity to develop practical interventions and skills for preventing and remediating behavior problems. Addresses the principles of functional assessment through an exploration of responsive classroom techniques.
