Basic Power Systems 1
Course Description:
Retired August 31, 2005; replaced by ETE 4346 in the School of Professional and Continuing Studies. Presents fundamentals of single-phase and three-phase power systems. Introduces symmetrical components and sequence networks, two- and three-winding power transformers modeling, and the per-unit system. Explores calculation of power transmission line. Examines modeling and steady-state operation of transmission lines.
