Course Description:
Retired August 31, 2007. Offers participants the opportunity to develop instructional plans, curriculum materials, and pedagogical strategies for effective teaching and assessment of high school students in urban public schools. Describes what it means to create a learning community that supports the development of their students’ abilities to question, think analytically, and reason systematically. Designed to support the practice of participants and give them a working start on the complexities of urban teaching.
