Linking Assessment and Instruction: Looking at Student Work
Course Description:
Retired August 31, 2007; replaced with ED G365 in the Graduate School of Education. Explores the multiple ways in which teachers can use students’ work as complements or alternatives to standardized testing while assessing their own curriculum and classroom instruction through the continued feedback that students’ work offers to teachers. Offers the opportunity for current and prospective teachers to develop a larger repertoire of materials to evaluate both individual students and the classroom experience as a whole.
