Advanced Family Therapy
Course Description:
Begins with an analysis of the genograms prepared during CAP G286. Discusses the usefulness of the genogram and how to include it in the assessment and treatment of a family. Covers the theories and interventions of structural and strategic family therapy. Addresses issues of special events in the family, such as divorce, illness, and special needs, in terms of their effects on family functioning.
