Course Description:
Retired August 31, 2005. Continues CES G452. Offers advanced clinical rotations at various clinical sites. Emphasizes the development of advanced skills in the application of life-support technology and perioperative autologous blood salvaging techniques in the cardiopulmonary support of patients undergoing cardiac surgery. Requires students to complete a minimum of forty hours per week during each fourteen-week period. Requires the completion of three case studies related to the internship site.
