Course Description:
Covers function and regulation of major physiological systems in animals including cellular and organismal energy metabolism, thermoregulation, muscle and movements, circulation, respiration, and salt and water balance. Emphasizes vertebrates including humans, but material on invertebrates is included where appropriate for understanding general principles.
