Course Title:
Chemical Engineering Calculations
Course Description:
Retired August 31, 2004; replaced by CHE U308. Examines the application of fundamental laws of mass and energy conservation to chemical and physical processes. Emphasizes material and energy balances on chemical processes. Develops skills in applying chemistry, physics, and mathematics to identify and solve chemical engineering problems. A corequisite computational laboratory uses the principles identified in class to solve more complex problems with modern computer tools.
