Education and Ethics
Course Description:
Aimed at developing in students a working understanding of, and critical perspective on, the social, cultural, historical, and political dynamics of schools in the United States. Participants come to understand the policies and practices in contemporary education as a dynamic of conflicting power relations, opposing perspectives, and long-standing agendas. Serves as a capstone for the Accomplished Practice Seminar of the M.A.T. program, when students present their exit project.
