Course Description:
Examines the ethics and public policy of the professions, such as architecture, health care, law, government, nursing, journalism, business, and engineering. Considers the fiduciary duties of professionals to the people they serve and the conflicts between fiduciary duties and other factors, such as market demands, self-interest, and duties to institutions. Also considers issues concerning the autonomy of professionals.
