Course Description:
Continues NUR G460. Focuses on providing the student with clinical learning experiences in the coordination and delivery of primary-care nursing services to infants, children, adolescents, and young adults and their families within the context of their culture and community. Studies how to assess, diagnose, and manage stable chronic conditions and acute episodic illnesses commonly encountered in childhood, adolescence, and young adulthood. Students build on a foundation of practice behaviors in health assessment, health promotion, and disease prevention.
