Course Description:
Continues NUR G400. Provides a clinical learning experience integrating knowledge about role, management, organizational, and social behavior theories, and development of skills for community-based care. Focuses on policies and program development based on the problems identified in the community assessment. The clinical learning focuses on disease prevention strategies and the further development of the advanced practice role with individuals, families, and community systems, emphasizing clinical decision making and accountability. Involves an individually negotiated clinical placement with agency preceptors and a weekly didactic seminar with faculty.
