Course Title:

Computational Fluid Dynamics with Heat Transfer

			Course Description:

Offers an advanced course in computer methods applied to flows with heat transfer. Topics include finite difference methods for solving partial differential equations, with particular emphasis on the equations of fluid dynamics and convective heat transfer. Other topics include integral methods for boundary layers and their coupling to potential flow solutions, the use of coordinate transformations and body-oriented coordinate systems, and the application of superposition techniques in convective heat transfer problems. Extensive use is made of commercial software as applied to engineering problems.
