U.S.-East Asia Relations
Course Description:
Analyzes U.S. relations with East Asian countries. Topics include trade issues, human rights concerns, security arrangements, development and democratization, and investment and aid programs. Also discusses regional institutions, such as the Asian Development Bank, ASEAN, and ARF, as well as the role of the World Bank and International Monetary Fund in East Asia.
