Emphasizes the medical management of the disease states most frequently encountered in practice, considerations and precautions that are required in the proper selection and dosing of drugs most frequently used in these disease states, and the recognition of clinically significant, efficacious, and/or toxic drug effects. Topics include the clinical approach to pharmaceutical care and drug-related problems, and disease state management.
