Advanced Topics in Finance: Venture Capital
Course Description:
Examines financial decisions made by organizations in the private equity industry and how private equity funds are raised and structured. Investigates the interaction between private equity investors and the entrepreneurs they finance. Considers the potential problems and conflicts of interest between investors and entrepreneurs. In sum, students are exposed to the structure and strategy of specialized financing institutions.
