Course Title:
Microwave Circuit Design for Wireless Communication
Course Description:
Covers planar microwave circuits and microwave integrated circuits. Reviews the scattering matrix and signal flow graphs before the discussion of passive structures such as microstrips, coplanar wave-guides, slot lines, and fin lines. The design of lumped elements such as inductors, capacitors, and resistors is followed by impedance matching, tuning, resonators, and filters. Also discusses active microwave circuits such as amplifiers, negative resistance oscillators, detectors, and mixers.
