Introduces the fundamentals of visual design communication for print and electronic delivery. Covers the basics of typography, illustration, photography, color, and layout techniques through lectures, presentations, class discussions, and assignments/critiques. Presents an overview of the creative and production processes as well as an explanation of the basic tools and terminology needed to communicate effectively with design professionals.
