Math and Statistics for Economists
Course Description:
Provides an intensive study of the statistical methods and techniques and mathematical fundamentals necessary for quantitative economics in this half-semester course. Statistical topics include descriptive statistics, probability theory, fundamentals of estimation and hypothesis testing, and regression and correlation analysis. Mathematical topics include linear algebra, and differential and integral calculus. Computer applications are an integral part of the course.
