Musculoskeletal Pathophysiology
Course Description:
Provides the clinical exercise physiologist with an understanding of the etiology, epidemiology, pathophysiology, and pathokinetics of musculoskeletal diseases and disabilities. Considers the clinical basis of neuromuscular diseases that affect gait and coordination. Clinical application is directed toward the role of exercise in the management of the disease or disability, and toward modifications that may need to be made in a preventive or rehabilitative program.
