Doctoral Seminar in Vocational Psychology and Career Counseling
Course Description:
Examines the range of knowledge considerations that causally influence human vocational, occupation, and career choice(s) over the life span. Such considerations include physical, psychological, sociological, geographical, economic, and cultural factors. A general model for data collection and consultation with clients of varying ages and backgrounds is analyzed. Its application shall be further demonstrated in simulated microcounseling sessions. Requires students to make seminar presentations on selected topics stated above.
