Focuses on advanced assessment and management skills used to plan respiratory therapy for pediatric and neonatal patients. Covers adjustment of mechanical ventilators with emphasis on understanding modes of ventilation, control interaction, and waveform analysis. Examines care of newborns with emphasis on treatment of respiratory distress syndrome.
